Xbet review: small welcome bonuses, a $10,000 weekly payout ceiling, and a book that says it takes recreational players only
Xbet is an offshore sportsbook, casino and racebook that takes cards and a long list of coins. Its sports welcome bonuses are small, up to $200 in bonus bets, and its payout rules are written out in full: $100 minimum, one withdrawal a week per method, $10,000 a week at most. It says plainly that it wants recreational action only, and it names no company or license.
- Best for
- A recreational US bettor who funds with crypto, bets pregame straights and parlays, and is happy with payouts under $10,000 a week.
- Not for
- A bettor who moves with the market or plays derived lines heavily, anyone expecting a large win paid in one go, or a card depositor in a hurry.

Small bonuses, and what they're worth
Xbet's sports welcome offers are modest by offshore standards. Deposit by crypto with the code XBCRYPTO100 and you get 100 percent up to $200 in bonus bets. By card, with XBWELCOME50, it's 50 percent up to $200. Both need a $50 deposit and carry a 10x playthrough on the deposit plus the bonus. The casino offers are bigger and steeper, up to $1,000 at 40x.
A bonus bet is not cash. The help centre says it plainly: the stake leaves your bonus balance win or lose, and only the winnings come to you. A $200 bonus bet on a -110 coin flip is worth about $91. Bonus bets win at most $500 a bet, and they can't go on the prop builder, horses or the casino.
Now the playthrough. On a $200 crypto deposit with the full $200 bonus, 10x of $400 is $4,000. Xbet counts the lower of the risk or the win when a bet wins, and the full risk when it loses, so at -110 you'd lay about $4,190 to get there, and the book's edge on that is about $190. Casino, live betting and horse racing don't count toward it at all. You pay about $190 in expected vig for about $91 of bonus bets. I'd take it only if I was going to bet $4,000 there anyway, and even then I'd think twice. The rollover page shows the method.
Even without a bonus, every deposit must be bet through once before you can withdraw it.
Getting paid, slowly or in pieces
This is the part Xbet writes down in detail, and it's worth reading before the first deposit. The minimum withdrawal is $100, or $25 by Bitcoin. You get one withdrawal per method a week. Winnings from sports or casino are capped at $10,000 a week, $5,000 by Bitcoin and $5,000 by bank wire. A bank wire sits 2 business days under review and then takes 5 to 7 more. Bitcoin is typically sent within 12 to 24 hours. Requests after 2 p.m. Eastern count as the next day's, and payouts go out Monday to Friday.
Card depositors wait at least seven business days from their last deposit before they can ask for a withdrawal, and nothing is paid while any deposit is still settling, which the rules say can take 5 to 7 business days. You'll be asked for SMS verification or a photo ID and copies of the cards you used.
The weekly ceiling is the rule I'd weigh. Hit a $30,000 parlay and you're collecting it over three weeks, as long as the account stays open that long. The home page talks about "fast 48 hours payouts" and "the Fastest Fee Free Payouts in the Industry", but the help centre doesn't list payout fees either way, so I can't tell you what a wire costs.
A recreational book, and it says so
Most books keep this between the lines. Xbet puts it in the rules: it "is a recreational sportsbook and will only accept recreational action and players", and it can close an account and forfeit winnings for any behavior it deems non-recreational. Steam chasers and originators are not accepted. It also asks for equal dollar action on full games and on derived lines, meaning live bets, quarters, team and player props. A player who only bets first-quarter props is exactly who that rule is written for.
I don't hold that against a book. I booked to recreational players and I knew why. But a player who beats the closing number should know he'll be found out here, and that the rules let the house keep the winnings when it decides he isn't recreational. Phone bets have a $100 minimum, and online the minimum is $2.
Who runs it
The About page says Xbet is "a fully licensed operator legally authorized to conduct online gaming", and the footer calls it "a Legal Online Sports Betting Site". Neither names the company, the license or who issued it, and the general rules don't either. The footer also advertises "Early 2024 Super Bowl 57 Odds", which tells you how often anyone reads it.
Xbet takes 21 and over, says it is your job to check the law where you live, and reserves the right to close accounts that use a VPN or mask their location. Keep the first deposit in crypto and small, take the first payout in Bitcoin, and see that it lands before you send more.
