Bitcoin Cash casinos: who takes it and on what terms
Our reviews record Bitcoin Cash at seven of the nine casinos we've covered. Only three of those casinos name it on the pages we read, and one caps it well below its Bitcoin limit.
What Bitcoin Cash is
Bitcoin Cash is a separate coin that split off from Bitcoin on 1 August 2017, and its own site sells it as cheap, fast electronic cash, with a typical network fee under a penny. It has its own price and its own network, so a Bitcoin address and a Bitcoin Cash address aren't interchangeable. Our crypto payments guide covers sending the wrong coin to the wrong network, and I'd read that part before the first deposit, because the money doesn't come back.
Who takes it
The three casinos whose pages name Bitcoin Cash in the cashier are these.
Bovada Casino takes it both ways and is the only one to put a number on it. Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Tether are capped at $2,500 a week. Bitcoin, on the same cashier, runs to $9,500 a request and $90,000 a week, and Litecoin to $180,000 a week. There's no fee on crypto. So at Bovada, Bitcoin Cash is the coin you'd use for small money and nothing more. A $20,000 win taken in Bitcoin Cash alone would take eight weeks; in Bitcoin it would clear inside one.
Everygame Casino lists Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Lightning Bitcoin and Litecoin for deposits and withdrawals, from $25 by crypto. It says Bitcoin withdrawals are its fastest payout. It publishes no withdrawal limit, fee or time for any coin, and its terms say payouts may be paid in instalments. I'd email the payments desk for the Bitcoin Cash limit before sending any.
Xbet Casino lists Bitcoin Cash among thirteen deposit methods, from $20 by crypto. Our review lists only Bitcoin and bank wire for payouts, with winnings capped at $10,000 a week, so ask whether Bitcoin Cash can come back as Bitcoin Cash before you count on it.
The other four on the list below, BetNow Casino, BookMaker Casino, JustBet Casino and YouWager Casino, are recorded in our reviews as taking Bitcoin Cash. None of their pages we read gives a separate Bitcoin Cash limit, speed or fee. YouWager's crypto payouts run $50 to $10,000, twice every seven days, and BookMaker's and JustBet's Bitcoin pages allow five payouts a week of up to $10,000, but those figures are written for Bitcoin or for crypto in general. Ask which applies to Bitcoin Cash. Bookie.ag Casino and MyBookie Casino don't take it, on the pages we read.
When I'd use it
Bitcoin Cash makes sense when the casino pays it at the same limits as Bitcoin and your own wallet or exchange handles it cheaply. At Bovada it doesn't pay at the same limits, which settles that one. Elsewhere you don't know until you ask, so I'd ask on chat, keep the answer, and send a small test deposit first.
I'd also keep the time a balance sits in the coin short. Bitcoin Cash moves in price like any coin, and a payout you leave in it is a second bet you didn't mean to make. Sell when it lands, or don't use it.
Whether you may play at any of these depends on where you live. The list below is every casino we've reviewed that records Bitcoin Cash, with its withdrawal line.
