BetNow Casino review: a 200% bonus at 25x, a 10% weekly rebate and a $5,000-a-week ceiling on big wins

Who you're dealing with

BetNow's casino is a room inside the sportsbook, on the same account and the same cashier, so everything in our BetNow sportsbook review about who runs it applies here too. The short version: the terms make the agreement with "Company, Inc., operating as BetNow.eu", which names nobody. The home page carries an Anjouan seal and the banking page a Gaming Labs badge, but the terms I read today don't name a licence or a licence number. I'd want to know whose name is on the other side of the table before I left a big balance there, and I can't tell you.

The terms restrict New Jersey and a list of countries, set the age at 18 or the legal age where you live, whichever is higher, and leave it to you to check whether you may play at all. That last part is true of every offshore casino, and it depends on where you live.

What's on the floor

The lobby runs to slots, progressive and jackpot slots, blackjack in several versions, American, European and French roulette, baccarat, craps, Caribbean stud, a long list of video poker games and keno. The site doesn't give a total game count, and it doesn't name the companies that make the games, so I can't point you to a software provider profile. Game pages show a volatility rating, and a few quote an RTP. One describes Baccarat VIP as "a low volatility slot game" with a 98 percent RTP, which tells you the descriptions are written in bulk. The live casino says "100 live games", and the tables post their limits: $1 to $200 at one blackjack table, $5 to $100 or $25 to $500 at several others, and up to $2,500 at the top Blackjack Early Payout table. How it pays, and when it doesn't

Casino winnings come out through the sportsbook's cashier: crypto free and typically within 24 hours, ACH and bank wire up to five business days, cash up to 48 hours. Every new customer waits 30 days for the first payout, casino or sports.

The rule I'd read twice is in the terms. Once your casino winnings pass $5,000 in a 24-hour period, the most you can withdraw is $5,000 a week, and the whole account's casino activity can be reviewed, with up to a 72-hour hold. Say a slot hits for $20,000. That's four weeks of payouts, after a review, before it's all in your hands. The terms also say the casino "may apply a maximum win", without saying what it is. I've no quarrel with a house protecting itself, but a jackpot player should know this going in.

The bonus, worked out

The welcome offer is CASINO200: 200 percent up to $2,500, from a $20 deposit, with a 25x rollover on the deposit plus the bonus. The site's own example: deposit $100, get $200 in casino chips, and play through 25 times $300, or $7,500, before you can ask for a payout.

Put that $7,500 through a slot that returns 96 percent and the house expects to keep 4 percent of it, about $300, against a $200 bonus. On average you'd pay $100 for the privilege. At the top of the offer it's worse in dollars: $1,250 in, $2,500 bonus, $93,750 of play, about $3,750 expected cost. The arithmetic is the same as on any 20x rollover, and the bonuses guide shows the method. BetNow's public pages don't say how table games count toward the rollover, what the maximum bet is while a bonus is live, or whether the chips themselves are ever cashable, so ask on chat before you take it. Unused bonuses can be removed after 14 days.

The 10 percent weekly casino rebate is the one I'd take. Lose $300 in a week and you get $30 back on Monday, after the house subtracts any casino bonuses and rebates you received the week before. That's a real discount on the house edge, and it asks nothing of you.

Who it suits

If you already bet sports at BetNow and want a few hands of live blackjack between games, the casino does the job and the rebate softens a bad week. If you're after big slot jackpots, the weekly ceiling and the unnamed operator are reasons to look elsewhere. Keep the balance small and set a loss limit before you sit down.
