Add the legs and their prices and this tells you what the parlay pays if every one comes in. It multiplies the prices, which is how a parlay should be paid, so you can check the book's figure against it.

What it shows
Three legs at -110 each multiply to a decimal price of about 6.96, so $100 brings back $695.79, a profit of $595.79. Check that against what your book pays. I always would. Some books, and nearly every printed card, pay a fixed table that comes in under the true multiplied price, and the parlay cards page shows how much that costs.
The mistake people make
They see the payout and forget the chance. Each -110 leg needs to win 52.38 percent of the time just to break even, and a parlay needs every leg, so the book's cut is paid once per leg. I'd build a parlay because I like each leg on its own at that price, not because the total looks big. The parlays and parlay strategy guides explain why the book is happy to take them.
