Where they live at a book

A same game parlay puts several bets from one game on one ticket, and the legs are related, so the book prices the ticket itself. The same game parlays guide explains why you can't check that price the way you can an ordinary parlay.

At several offshore books the ordinary bet slip still refuses parlays whose legs depend on each other. BetPhoenix's house rules, for example, refuse multiple bets "where the outcome of one part of the bet contributes to the outcome of another". The same book offers same game parlays through its prop builder, under separate rules that set the price. So a combination the slip refuses may still be on the menu somewhere else. It will be at a price the book has worked out for you, and I'd remember who did the working.

The rules to read

Which sports. Selected games only. Bovada's page lists MLB, NBA, WNBA and NFL games and English Premier League matches.

How many legs. BookMaker's help center allows up to six selections in a same game parlay, all from the same game. More legs mean a longer price, a bigger cut taken on your behalf, and a ticket that loses if any one of the six goes wrong, which is the whole business model of the bet. Six is plenty.

A leg that's voided. If a player in your ticket doesn't play, books differ: some void the whole ticket, some drop the leg and reprice what's left, and the rules say which. I'd find out before I built a ticket around one player.

Reading the list

The list shows the books we've reviewed whose own pages say they offer same game parlays, A to Z, each with the props line from its review. A book whose rules didn't say either way is left out. Several books' rules only restrict same game parlays in certain cases without saying they offer them, and those are left out too until they do.

Your side of it

I'd treat a same game parlay as entertainment and stake it like entertainment: a few dollars for a sweat that lasts the game. It's one of the most expensive bets on the menu. Books advertise it hardest. Those go together. If you have a real opinion on a game, I'd bet it straight, at a price you can check.
