Table tennis betting sites
Table tennis is on the board at three in the morning, every morning, and that tells you most of what you need to know about it. Some of it is world-class sport. A lot of it is small events that exist mainly so books have something to deal.
Who deals it
The books that offer table tennis tend to deal a lot of it, match after match through the night. The list below shows the books we've reviewed whose own sites list table tennis, A to Z. A book whose review doesn't say is left out, so if your book isn't on it, look at its live menu before you assume it doesn't deal the sport.
How the sport is bet, and how a match price comes from the chance of winning a single game, is on the how to bet on table tennis page. This page is about choosing where.
The small events
The big international tournaments draw the best players and the most attention, and I've no quarrel with them. The matches that fill the overnight board are another thing: mostly small events with lesser-known players, run largely for the betting market. Integrity bodies have warned about events of that kind across several sports, and table tennis has had its share of fixing cases.
I'd say it plainly. If you can't name the event or either player, you don't know enough to bet the match, and a price that moves hard for no reason you can see, an hour before a match between two players nobody has heard of, is a reason to stay out of it altogether. Somebody may know more than you.
Speed is the risk
A match lasts minutes, the next one starts straight after, and the live board never stops. Fine for a book. It has a margin on every match, and I'd have been glad of a market like that. It is hard on a bettor, because it is easy to make twenty bets in an hour without deciding to.
- Set a number of bets for the session before you start, and stop at it
- Keep each stake to the same 1 or 2 percent of the bankroll as any other bet
- Check the book's limits on the sport, which are usually low
The book doesn't need you to bet table tennis well. It only needs you to bet a lot of it.
