PayPal betting sites
PayPal is the method people ask for most. They find it least. Few of the offshore books we've reviewed list it at all, and there's a reason for that which no book is going to change for you.
Why it's rare
PayPal decides which gambling businesses it will work with, and it mostly works with books licensed where the player lives. An offshore book isn't licensed in your state. So it generally can't take PayPal, however much its customers would like it to, and I've never known a book able to talk its way round that. The regulated state books are where PayPal shows up most, and whether you may use one of those depends on where you live. The offshore sportsbooks page explains the difference between the two kinds of book.
So when an offshore book says it takes PayPal, I'd give it a closer look, not a quicker deposit. Read exactly what it says. BetPOP, for example, lists PayPal among its withdrawal methods, for amounts of $1,000 or less, says its site. It doesn't list it for deposits.
Reading the list
The list below shows the books we've reviewed whose sites name PayPal as a payment method, either way in or way out, A to Z. A book whose review doesn't list its payment methods is left out. Each row quotes the payment line from its review, so check whether PayPal is there for deposits, payouts or both before you count on it.
What to use instead
At an offshore book, the methods that work are the ones it lists. The useful question is how it pays you, not how it takes your money, and I'd ask it every time. Crypto is the method most offshore books pay fastest and cheapest, and the crypto payments page explains how to use it without having held crypto before. Person-to-person transfers and payment apps are the other common routes. Each comes with its own limits and fees, which the withdrawals page goes through.
Whatever the method, expect the book to ask for identity documents before it pays, as the KYC page describes.
Your side of it
I wouldn't choose a book for its payment logo. I'd choose it for how it pays, and I'd find that out the cheap way, with a small deposit, a few bets and a small withdrawal, before any real money went in. Then I'd decide. Keep each bet to 1 or 2 percent of the bankroll, whichever way the money arrived.
