We have a great Thursday Night Football matchup to start Week 13 when the Dallas Cowboys host the New Orleans Saints. Between these two, they have won 13 in a row, with the Saints on a 10-game winning streak after losing Week 1 at home to the Buccaneers.
After the Cowboys lost 5 of their first eight games, they have now rattled off 3 straight wins for a share atop the NFC East. The Cowboys are 4-1 at home with the Saints 5-0 on the road.
The Saints are the #1 team against the run, giving up only 73.2 rushing yards per game, however, Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is currently first in rushing with 1,074 yards and 97.6 yards per game. This will be the matchup to watch, especially if the Saints can get out to an early lead.
The Saints trio of Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas has seemed unstoppable at times, although Kamara and Thomas had some of their worst production of the season last week against the Falcons.
This head-to-head matchup has recently been dominated by the Saints, with an 8-2 SU record and 7-3 ATS. They have scored 6.8 more points per game than the Cowboys, so the 7-point spread that is currently posted by top online sportsbooks is right on the money.
Dallas’ defense has looked much improved with both Leighton Vander Esch and Jaylon Smith taking huge strides in their development over the past month, but they have not played a team with the weapons that the Saints have.
The Cowboys could possibly be playing a playoff game this season, but the Saints are among the cream of the crop in the NFC.

There are two ways in which to approach this game. One, you can bet against the Flyers, they have been pretty bad this year and they seem to have lost their heart completely. The other glaring reason to bet against them would simply have to be their record against the spread, it’s an abysmal-15-29. They Read More…
The Los Angeles Chargers traveled to Foxborough, Mass., on Sunday to face the dynasty known as the New England Patriots in the AFC Divisional Round of the playoffs. The Patriots entered the game as a four-point favorite and rightfully so. They have played in the last seven straight AFC championship games … and they played Read More…
It’s been a while since I’ve brought you a Free Pick from the NHL, but I’m going there tonight. Although both of these teams have had their share of troubles this season, neither is out of the playoff picture with a ton of hockey left to play. Game: St. Louis Blues (20-20-4, 22-22 ATS) at Read More…
