This week’s Thursday Night Football offers a great betting matchup when the Panthers visit the Steelers. Both teams are in the playoff hunt and come into this one on a winning streak, 3 for Carolina and 4 for Pittsburgh.
The Steeler offense is once again filled with playmakers, including James Conner, who has racked up over 100 yards rushing in five of the Steelers 8 games while filling in for Le’Veon Bell. With AB, JuJu and Vance catching balls from Big Ben, scoring points is never an issue.
The Steelers score the 9th most points per game at 28.4 with the Panthers a close 11th at 27.5 PPG. Cam knows how to move the ball as well, putting up 36 on a tough Ravens D two weeks ago and 42 last week against the Bucs.
These two are also neck and neck in points given up per game as well, with the Panthers at #12 (22.5 PPG) and the Steelers at #15 (23.5 PPG). At 3.5, this one is virtually a pick em, with the home team normally getting 3-points.
Personally, Pittsburgh and Carolina have only met 6 times, with their first meeting coming in December of 1996 and their last in September of 2014. The Steelers are 5-1 SU and 6-0 ATS! Pittsburgh has shown near domination and killing the online sportsbooks, with scores of 27-3 and 37-3 in two of their last 3 meetings.
Expect Cam to buck that trend tonight and help the Panthers leave Heinz Field at 7-2, further cementing themselves as a legit wild card team again this year.

The Reds picked up a big win over one of the best teams in baseball last night, and definitely a team that comes in near or above the top-five in most power rankings. Last night was a close game and yet another run line loss by the Astros, who happen to be 38-34 against the Read More…
Throw out the fact that the San Francisco Giants are in last place in the National League West Division. The Giants-Dodgers rivalry is one of the best in baseball. The two teams meet for the fourth time this season beginning a four-game series on Monday night. If you think just because the Giants are in Read More…
Those of you that say there’s nothing to bet this time of year need to take a better look at your betting board. There’s a lot more than Major League Baseball, including other levels of baseball, NASCAR, boxing, MMA, about 200 soccer games every day, tennis and rugby, just to name a few. Today I’m Read More…
