An AFC South matchup gets Week 14 started as the Tennessee Titans host the Jacksonville Jaguars. These two played in Week 3, a 9-6 Titan win in Jacksonville that saw no one reach paydirt and 5 field goals.
The Jags ended a 7-game losing skid with a 6-0 win over another AFC South rival last week against the Colts. The Titans never led their Week 13 game against the Jets until a Corey Davis TD put them up 26-22 with 36 seconds left, getting them the win and keeping them in the Wild Card race.
Things have gotten so bad offensively for the Jaguars that they benched Blake Bortles in favor of Cody Kessler, a QB that has as many passing touchdowns as he has turnovers. His Jags managed only 211 total yards last week, although the defense held the Colts to 265.
Great Read – Why I like Betting Parlays
The Titans have owned this series recently, with a 7-3 SU record in the last 10. ATS these two are very close in the same timeframe with a 4-4-2 record, with the UNDER 6-4. Looking at the last 3, the Titans are 3-0 both SU and ATS, holding the Jags to an average of 10.67 points in those losses.
I’m having a tough time handicapping this one. My original thought was to hammer the UNDER, but at 37.5, that’s not a safe option to me. Jacksonville have lost their identity, and are nowhere near the team that were up 20-10 on the New England Patriots in the 4th quarter of last year’s Conference Championship.
I know you guys come here for a free pick, but I can’t comfortably offer you one for this Thursday Night matchup. I always wager on these picks, and I won’t be betting on this one tonight.

I went with Philadelphia last week as a 2.5-point road underdog against Jacksonville on the simple betting theory of going with the better all-around team. Preseason football is getting harder and harder to handicap with some starters remaining on the bench through the entire four-game schedule. Head coaches are less willing to take any risks Read More…
Sticking with the NFL on Saturday worked out for us, so let’s give it another try. San Francisco heads to Denver and both starting quarterbacks are expected to see some action. It probably won’t be for long, which will likely have an effect on our outcome. * Increase your bookie business 10 times, all while Read More…
I dipped into this series on Friday night, and although it didn’t come easy, I took the Giants +126 for the win. The Giants had a 7-2 lead going into the bottom of the 8th, only to allow 5 runs in the bottom of the 8th. Neither team scored in the 9th, both scored two Read More…
