Sunday Night Football Week 17

After providing hope with 335 passing yards in Week 14 and five touchdowns in Week 15, Minnesota’s quarterback Teddy Bridgewater flopped in Week 16 against the Giants, finishing with 168 yards and 1 TD. The bottom line is that he is a game-manager and a weak bet to make much noise this weekend on the road versus the Packers, against whom he had 296 yards and 1 TD in Week 11.The Packers limited Adrian Peterson to 61 total yards and one score in Week 11, and he has done little of note over the past month — 104 yards and a score against a weak Giants defense Sunday, notwithstanding. That said, he is still capable of busting loose, and with the NFC North title on the line, he should bring his A-game.Take away that two-score outburst in Week 15, and Diggs has done nothing over his past eight games to make you think he is going to make an impact in the regular-season finale. He managed only 66 yards on six catches when he faced the Packers at home in Week 11.Packers’ defense has had issues this season keeping tight ends in check and Rudolph had his best game of the season against them in Week 11, with six catches for 106 yards and a score. At the very least, he should duplicate those statistics.
What can you say about Rodgers’ Week 16 performance? It was disaster of epic proportions for fantasy teams in the playoffs. Sacked eight times and mercifully benched in the fourth quarter of the blowout loss, he finished with 151 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT. The Vikings offer a friendlier matchup this week in Green Bay, but he managed only 212 yards, 2 TDs and 0 INT against them in Week 11 and hasn’t done anything special in months. Eddie Lacy’s certainly 1 of the most volatile players in all of football. On the bright side, he’s coming off an encouraging outing vs. Arizona with 88 total yards and a score. He also dropped a 22-100 line on Minnesota back in Week 11. Randall Cobb saved his worst for last this season, as he bottomed out with three receptions for 15 yards and no touchdowns in Week 16 against the Cardinals. He hasn’t scored in has past five outings and hasn’t touched the 100-yard mark since Week 2.
