NHL Playoffs Free Pick | Stars at Blues Game 5
This possibly has been the worst week in my handicapping career this week. I have sucked so bad I’ve been reaching out to friends for help. Not one muther-%@#&er had anything…nothing. For some strange reason I have been more interested in the NFL Draft and April baseball than the Stanley Cup Playoffs, something I waited every year for, so today I’m going back to my first love…the NHL.
Game: Dallas Stars (49-35-8, 50-42 ATS) at St. Louis Blues (51-31-10, 44-48 ATS)
When: 9:30 PM ET, Friday, May 3rd, 2019
Where: Enterprise Center, St. Louis, Missouri
Current Line: DAL +125 STL -145 Total: 5
TV Coverage: NBC Sports Network, TVAS, Sportsnet, Sportsnet360
These two have alternated wins and losses in the first 4 games and are all knotted up at 2 as the series heads back to St. Louis. Like the other three second round playoff series’, these two teams are very evenly matched, and a bounce here or there could literally decide who moves on to the Conference Finals.
Both Ben Bishop and Jordan Binnington have played every second in goal for their teams in the playoffs and are 6-4. Bishop has the better numbers with a 2.24 GAA and a .931 save %, while Binnington’s stats show 2.80 GAA and .906 SV%.
Dallas are 3-2 on the road so far in the playoffs, taking the pivotal Game 5 in Nashville before moving on with a 2-1 OT win in Game 6. The Blues are 2-3 at home, losing their first two against Winnipeg there before taking care of business in Game 6 at home.
Watch for Bishop to have a huge game tonight, taking the all-important Game 5. The +125 value is just too hard to pass up.

Sticking with the NFL on Saturday worked out for us, so let’s give it another try. San Francisco heads to Denver and both starting quarterbacks are expected to see some action. It probably won’t be for long, which will likely have an effect on our outcome. * Increase your bookie business 10 times, all while Read More…
