There is no doubt Coyotes at Kings is not the most exciting matchup on Thursday’s sports lineup, but sometimes those are the best games to wager on. If you have read any of my stuff before, you know I’m always about value and this game provides it.
The Kings, along with the Devils, have the least amount of points in the league at 31, however the Coyotes are not doing much better with 34 (with a game in hand over the Kings). The Kings went into the Christmas break on their first 3-game winning streak of the season with wins over the Jets, Sharks and Knights.
The Coyotes were also a small heater, winning their last 2 before the league shut down for 3 days. They also got a win of the Sharks and the Avs. Arizona is lead by young up and coming star Clayton Keller and defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson. Watch for newly acquired forward Nick Schmaltz to make an impact after the calendar turns to 2019. After coming over from the Blackhawks in late November, Schmaltz has at least one point in 9 of 14 games, including 4 goals and 8 assists in that span.
Arizona loves playing in LA, and have won 6 of their last 8 there and are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 against the Kings. Surprisingly, the Coyotes have a better road record (9-8-1) that at home (7-10-1).
I love the value the Coyotes offer tonight as a road dog, and am backing Arizona Coyotes Moneyline tonight when the NHL gets going again after the Christmas break.
