NHL Free Pick | Canadiens at Devils
Even though the Jets moneyline didn’t pull through, yesterday was still a highly profitable day for us. Dustin Johnson was 4th on our list for the Mexico Championship, and netted us a nice +1000 return on our money. It’s wire-to-wire wins like that that make betting golf both fun and worthwhile.
I also correctly predicted a Patrik Laine goal last night, and he did find the back of the net, although it was the only one the Jets could manage to get behind the suddenly red-hot Darcy Kuemper. Nevertheless, we’re back to the grind today.

I’m picking the Canadiens for one reason…they’re hungry. After blowing a massive lead against their bitter rival Toronto Maple Leafs on Hockey Night in Canada Saturday night, you can bet the Habs will come to play tonight.
The Habs got out to a quick 3-0 first period lead, but saw the lead fading to the tune of 6 unanswered Leafs goals, resulting in a terrible 6-3 loss. The Canadiens would be in the playoffs if they started today, but at 73 points, they have the Hurricanes and Pens with 72 breathing down their necks. This is the time of year that sports betting gets fun in the NHL, let’s make some money together.
Simply put, Claude Julien and the entire Canadiens team know how important this game is, both mentally and in the standings. They will be firing on all cylinders, and expect Carey Price to have a great game between the pipes.
This two teams have similar goals per game numbers, with the Habs averaging 2.98 and the Devils averaging 2.92, but it’s defense that separates the two, with the Habs giving up 2.95 goals per game (18th) and the Devils at 3.39 (3rd).

After a mostly uneventful PGA Championship last week when Brooks Koepka went wire-to-wire, the PGA heads back to Texas this week for the Charles Schwab Challenge. After this week, the PGA does some travelling, heading to Muirfield Village in Ohio next week before heading to Canada the week after followed by the US Open at Read More…
Both of these teams know who they will be playing should they win this series and both had better revel in the glory now because the glory will be in short supply moving forward. The Golden State Warriors have completed the sweep over Portland to make a 5th straight appearance in the NBA Finals. No Read More…
Sometimes in sports betting, it is time to put up or shut up. I have been touting the San Jose Sharks as the team to beat in the NHL’s Western Conference since the All-Star break. Things were looking pretty good through the first three games of their best-of-seven conference finals matchup against St. Louis with Read More…
