It seems a lot of my NHL picks involve the Winnipeg Jets recently, and for good reason. They are one of the most solid teams across the whole league and are riding a 4-game winning streak and are 10-5 since the calendar turned to November.
On the other side of the ice, the Blues have been terrible of late, evidenced by their 3-9 record since November 11th. They are on the wrong end of both the goals for and goals against lists, at #19 in goals for and 8th in goals against.

At the time of writing this, Jake Allen and Connor Hellebuyck are the projected starters between the pipes, but for the purposes of my pick, it doesn’t matter. Jets backup goalie Laurent Brossoit has really held his own when starting. He’s 5-1-1 with a 2.16 GAA and a .935 save percentage, stats that would put him on top the SV% list and second to only Pekke Rinne in GAA.
After starting his career with 4 or 5 great seasons, Jake Allen has taken a mighty fall, and currently supports a stat line of 7-7-4, 3.16 GAA and .899 SV%. That’s 37th in both goals against average and save percentage across the league.
The Jets are 9-3-2- at home while the Blues are a brutal 3-6-2 on the road. The Blues are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 and are an incredible 3-11 ATS in their last 14 against the Jets. Although the Jets are only 12-15 ATS this season, they are 4-2 ATS in their last 6 home games against the Blues.
The -1.5+140 are some of the shortest odds for the favorite ATS, but I still love the value and is my ATB Free Play of the Day!

Sticking with the NFL on Saturday worked out for us, so let’s give it another try. San Francisco heads to Denver and both starting quarterbacks are expected to see some action. It probably won’t be for long, which will likely have an effect on our outcome. * Increase your bookie business 10 times, all while Read More…
I dipped into this series on Friday night, and although it didn’t come easy, I took the Giants +126 for the win. The Giants had a 7-2 lead going into the bottom of the 8th, only to allow 5 runs in the bottom of the 8th. Neither team scored in the 9th, both scored two Read More…
The NFL has been tough on me lately, but I’m going to stick with it for Saturday’s pick. In Week 15 of the 2019 regular season, Dallas and the L.A. Rams will meet in a game that will likely have playoff implications. This preseason Week 2 game is much less important, but it does have Read More…
