NFL Who’s Hot and Who’s Not - Week 12

The 8-2 Cincinnati Bengals have now lost two games in a row straight-up with Sunday’s 34-31 loss to Arizona, but after covering against the spread as four-point road underdogs on BetAnySports’ closing betting line they are still the top team to bet on in the NFL at 8-1-1 ATS.

Both New England and Carolina won again in Week 11 to remain perfect on the year at 10-0 SU, but while the Patriots could only manage a PUSH against Buffalo in a 20-13 victory on Monday night, the Panthers rolled to a 44-16 victory against Washington to easily cover as seven-point home favorites. New England is now 5-2-3 ATS on the year with a 4-2-3 record ATS when closing as a favorite. Carolina improved to 6-2 ATS as a favorite and 8-2 ATS overall.

The 7-3 Minnesota Vikings dropped a key divisional showdown against Green Bay this past Sunday in a 30-13 loss as a one-point home favorite, but despite the loss they are still a profitable 8-2 ATS on the year.

Both Jacksonville and Kansas City have been a hot bet over the past month or so with a perfect 4-0 record ATS in their last four games. The 4-6 Jaguars are now 6-4 ATS on the year while the Chiefs have improved to an even 5-5 ATS to match their SU record on the year.

The Cleveland Browns are in position to claim the first overall pick in next year’s NFL Draft at 2-8 SU and they are only slightly better ATS at 3-6-1, but they have been a solid bet on BetAnySports’ total line when wagering on the OVER. Heading into Week 12 the total has gone OVER in seven of their first 10 games.

Over in the NFC, the Arizona Cardinals have the second-best SU record in the conference at 8-2 SU and while they are above .500 ATS at 6-4, this is another great betting team on the total line with eight of 10 games going OVER.

While the total has gone OVER in seven of the New York Giants’ first 10 games, it has stayed UNDER in seven of Green Bay’s and Philadelphia’s first 10 outings.

If you are looking for a team to go against this Sunday you might want to start with the 6-4 Atlanta Falcons. A fast 5-0 SU start is becoming a distant memory with a three-game losing streak and they have now failed to cover in their last six games.
