NFL MNF Free Pick | Chiefs at Rams
Two of the best teams in the NFL square off tonight in what could be the offensive showdown of the season. These two are lighting up the scoreboard and everything is clicking. The Chiefs finally have what looks to be a playoff worthy group of guys and this has been a long time in the making.
What wins out tonight Defense or Offense? Both Mahomes and Goff are playing lights out. Mahomes leads the Chiefs offense with 31 TDs and 3,150 yards passing and 7 INTs. Goff is putting together a great season as well with 22 TDs and 3,134 yards passing with just 6 INTs.
The Chiefs are scoring 35.3 points per game and allowing 24 points per game while the Rams are scoring 33.5 points per games and allowing 23.1 points per game. The Chiefs are averaging 432.6 total yards of offense, 315 passing and 117.6 rushing while the Rams are averaging 459.4 total yards with 314.6 passing and 144.8 rushing.
The Chiefs are allowing 432.4 total yards per game to the Rams 376 total yards and the Rams have the advantage on yard passing allowed at 253.9 vs. 310.7 for the Chiefs. Both teams are giving up close to the same total rushing yards – Chiefs 121.7 and the Rams, 122.1.
The numbers couldn’t be closer and to dissect this game on the numbers alone is nearly impossible. The Chiefs have a three-headed monster in Kareem Hunt, Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins and they are the glue behind the offense. This trio is one reason top online sportsbooks have set the total at a record 63.
The Rams have Todd Gurley II and he is having a spectacular year and just 12 yard shy of 1,000 for the season with an additional 402 yards receiving. Wide receiver Cooper Kupp is out for the year with a torn ACL but Cooks and Woods both have more than 800 yards on the season.
If anybody is an X factor in this game, it could be Rams defensive tackle, Aaron Donald, who leads the league in sacks with 12.5, but neither team is tearing it up defensively. This game was built for offense.

There are two ways in which to approach this game. One, you can bet against the Flyers, they have been pretty bad this year and they seem to have lost their heart completely. The other glaring reason to bet against them would simply have to be their record against the spread, it’s an abysmal-15-29. They Read More…
