Green Bay has alternated losses and wins since Week 3, beating the 49ers 33-30 when they last played in Week 6. QB Aaron Rodgers is hoping to play without his knee brace, and gets some wide receivers back after using #’s 4 and 5 on the depth chart in their last game. They should also get a couple cornerbacks back, which Packer fans are happy about when trying to stop this Rams offense.
So yeah, that Rams offense. You will find them at the top of most team offensive categories like total yards, downs, rushing, and are 4th in passing and returning yards. There is literally nothing this Ram team can’t do. Their last game was against the 49ers as well, beating them handedly 39-10.
Looking back on the last 5 times these two played, the Packers are 5-0 both straight up and against the spread. It’s important to know those games were played from 2007 and 2015, seasons that included the Rams finishing with 1 (2009) and 3 (2007) wins and 2 wins twice in 2008 and 2011.
Maybe I shouldn’t go by history when making my pick for this one, but I can’t help myself. The Rams will get out to a lead, with ARod bringing his team back in the second half. He won’t get them all the way back, but 9-points is too much.
