NFL Free Pick | Cleveland at Denver
The consensus says that the Denver Broncos have a 77.1% chance to win this game. Why? The Broncos have won 11 straight over the Browns and the last victory they claimed over the Broncos came 28 years ago in 1990.
Both the Browns and Broncos have an outside chance to make this year’s playoffs. The Browns must “win out” and the Broncos need everybody to lose out, and a mile long scenario beyond.
Let’s get real; the Broncos are done and the Browns are 99% done. There is very little light at the end of the tunnel. The Broncos put together a three game winning streak that includes beating the Chargers, Steelers, and the Bengals. Two of these victories came on the road, against the Chargers and the Bengals.
What did the Broncos do after the three impressive wins over the Chargers, Bengals and Steelers? They marched right out, put their big boy pants on, and lost to the now 3-10 San Francisco 49ers! What a stinker, what a klunker that game was for the Broncos. Keenum went 24-42 for 188 yards and 1 TD. A rookie named Nick Mullens, out of Southern Miss came in for the 49ers and lit the Broncos up for 332 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT. Not bad numbers for a first career start.
The Browns have won three of their last four games including victories over the Falcons, Bengals and the Panthers. Their one hiccup came two weeks ago in Houston, where they suffered a 29-13 loss.

Baker Mayfield has put together 2, 877 yards, 19 TDs and 10 INTs. Mayfield is earning his stripes early and has already proven to be worth the pick. Mayfield has a big gun and he’s afraid of nobody, he’s mature beyond a rookie season. (Mahomes, take note).
Other than Bradley Chubb, some consistent play of Von Miller, and some outstanding play from rookie running back Phillip Lindsey; the Broncos are a train wreck and inconsistent to say the least. They need a coach that knows what a football is and they need direction, quick!
Free NFL Pick: Broncos go 12-0, for 28 years and running. Take the Broncos -2.5
