NFL Early Free Pick | Colts at Jaguars
Andrew Luck is back, he’s better than ever and he has put up 3112 yards passing and 32 TDs. The man has an offensive line that is protecting him, and the Colts have turned a miserable corner.
They have waded through a dark chapter in their recent story and the new coach, the new “O” line and the new attitude is paying off. It doesn’t hurt that they have beefed up the defense as well. They certainly still have room to improve and from week to week they are doing just that.
Last week’s 4th quarter comeback was vintage Andrew Luck, it was Luck at his best and he directed traffic like a genius. With 13 minutes left in the 4th, the Colts were down 10 and they stormed back and won the game.
That’s saying, “turned the corner”. This Colts team is back and they are good and just might be playoff worthy. They face an uphill battle because of a slow start and the Texans are off the chain! The Texans look like serious contenders, they are serious contenders and just notched their 8th win in a row this past Monday night against the Tennessee Titans.
The Jaguars have taken a very big step backwards this season. Many folks had high hopes for this team and they put together some big wins and as we remember, had an appearance in the playoffs against the Patriots.

They are not there this season and not finding any offense with 17.9 points per game to the Colts 29.5. They are playing decent defense and holding their opponents to 22.1 ppg, that’s two better than the Colts at 24.8 points per game.
Blake Bortles is in a funk and a bad funk. What happened to this guy? He has managed 2572 yards on the season, which is not awful, but just 13 TDs and 10 INTs, that’s awful! “It takes a village” and not a village idiot! It takes a team effort and Bortles is not the village idiot, his team is!

I went with Philadelphia last week as a 2.5-point road underdog against Jacksonville on the simple betting theory of going with the better all-around team. Preseason football is getting harder and harder to handicap with some starters remaining on the bench through the entire four-game schedule. Head coaches are less willing to take any risks Read More…
Sticking with the NFL on Saturday worked out for us, so let’s give it another try. San Francisco heads to Denver and both starting quarterbacks are expected to see some action. It probably won’t be for long, which will likely have an effect on our outcome. * Increase your bookie business 10 times, all while Read More…
I dipped into this series on Friday night, and although it didn’t come easy, I took the Giants +126 for the win. The Giants had a 7-2 lead going into the bottom of the 8th, only to allow 5 runs in the bottom of the 8th. Neither team scored in the 9th, both scored two Read More…
