NFL Early Free Pick - Chiefs vs. Browns
The Cleveland Browns are simply not what everyone had hoped and although they have had their shining moments, this team is once again, a major disappointment. The Saints game was a good one, the Steelers a tie, the Raiders, coulda, shoulda, woulda… The Browns were blown out by the Chargers and the Steelers in the second matchups, other than those two games, they have all been close.
Head coach of the Browns Hue Jackson was fired this week and he says it was all about Baker Mayfield, we say it was because he was horrible. The guy does not know the X and O’s, and how he was ever hired as the head coach of any NFL franchise is a head-scratcher.

The Browns need to dig really deep in this game if they have any kind of chance to stay within the -7 ½ point spread. That’s right. The Browns have almost zero chance of winning this game and close to no chance of keeping it close. Often times, teams respond when a coach has been fired, will the Browns be the example of this? They may respond with positive energy and come out swinging but this team will not keep up with the 7-1 Chiefs.
The Browns put up just 215 passing yards per game (25th), they score 21.1 points per games and allow 26.3 points per game. The one bright spot is not Baker Mayfield, it the running game that Cleveland has managed to put together for an average of 127.4 yards per game.
The Chiefs are an offensive juggernaut and it all starts with Patrick Mahomes at 2,526 yards and 26 TD’s, it’s safe to say the Chiefs have finally found their man at the quarterback position. The Chiefs are putting up 310.4 points per game and allowing 25.6. They are scoring 36.3 points per game and they have weapons, big weapons in Tyreek Hill and Kareem Hunt.
The Browns do not, “eventually have to win a big one”. Don’t listen to that.

There are two ways in which to approach this game. One, you can bet against the Flyers, they have been pretty bad this year and they seem to have lost their heart completely. The other glaring reason to bet against them would simply have to be their record against the spread, it’s an abysmal-15-29. They Read More…
