The Tennessee Volunteers are on the brink of being the best Volunteers team in the history of the basketball program and they have one opponent in their way; the Kentucky Wildcats. This Wildcats team is a good one but certainly not the best in the history of this program. This team finds subtle ways to win and they find ways to get back into a game when things look as if they are over. The Wildcats still get All-American, blue chip recruits and they still have one of the best college basketball coaches in the nation.

This game today will be fun, hard-fought and close. If you love great college basketball, then do not miss this game. This one could be the best of the season to date and certainly the best for these two.
The Wildcats are scoring 78 points per game and allowing 64.9 while shooting 48% from the field. The Vols are scoring 83.2 points per game and allowing 68.1 on 50.5% shooting. Both teams come in hot and the Wildcats come in 4th while the Vol’s come in 7th.
Ranking means absolutely nothing in this game. Do not let rank get in the way of clarity! Both teams have tremendous talent, and both can beat the other. This one will be a dogfight to the end and we could even see OT.

At the end of the day, Tennessee has seen it all this year and back home, they will be prepared to defend their floor. Look for the Vols to come out strong and look for them to finish strong. Kentucky will be tough, and they will push Tennessee all game long, but in the end, the home teams come away with this one.
