Tons of action to choose from tonight for our Free Pick of the Day, but we’re heading out to the Lone Star State tonight where the San Antonio Spurs host the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Did you win with our Pick of the Day last night? We had the Heat +3.5 over the Rockets, who won SU 101-99.
The Timberwolves are a tale of two teams, with a stellar 12-5 record at home but are a terrible 2-12 away from the Target Center. The Spurs are a shell of their former self, but are 12-5 at the AT&T Center, and have won 6 of their last 7 there, including a dominating 123-96 win over the 76ers their last time out.
After coming over for Kawhi Leonard in the offseason from the Raptors, DeMar DeRozan is leading the Spurs with 23.3 points per game and 6.2 assists per game. LaMarcus Aldridge is holding his own as well, with a team leading 9.4 rebounds per game and 18.9 PPG, which is second only to DeRozan.
After finishing the season last year 12 games over .500, the Timberwolves are somewhat of a disappointment thus far in 2018, but are getting solid production from Karl-Anthony Towns and Derrick Rose, who has shown flashes of greatness after a few seasons of mediocrity.

The Spurs have absolutely dominated the Timberwolves of late, and look to win their 11th straight against them at home tonight. When the Spurs and Timberwolves opened their seasons on October 17th, which ended in a 112-108 win for the Spurs, it improved San Antonio’s record against Minnesota to 50-9 when playing the Timberwolves at home.
In the last 10 meetings between these two, SA is 8-2 SU and 6-4 ATS with the OVER 6-4. As well, the Timberwolves are only 5-11 ATS in their last 16 in San Antonio.
I expect this trend to continue tonight, and my Pick of the Day is for the Spurs to cover the 4 points.

There are two ways in which to approach this game. One, you can bet against the Flyers, they have been pretty bad this year and they seem to have lost their heart completely. The other glaring reason to bet against them would simply have to be their record against the spread, it’s an abysmal-15-29. They Read More…
The Los Angeles Chargers traveled to Foxborough, Mass., on Sunday to face the dynasty known as the New England Patriots in the AFC Divisional Round of the playoffs. The Patriots entered the game as a four-point favorite and rightfully so. They have played in the last seven straight AFC championship games … and they played Read More…
It’s been a while since I’ve brought you a Free Pick from the NHL, but I’m going there tonight. Although both of these teams have had their share of troubles this season, neither is out of the playoff picture with a ton of hockey left to play. Game: St. Louis Blues (20-20-4, 22-22 ATS) at Read More…
