NBA Free Pick | Pistons at Nets
I am going to do something that I really do. I like to switch up my picks. But I simply cannot bet against the Detroit Pistons right now. They are playing too good at basketball. It is smart to ride a team that is hot, and the Pistons simply can’t lose right now.
Game: Detroit Pistons (34-31, 33-30-2 ATS) at Brooklyn Nets (35-33, 36-32 ATS)
When: 7:30 PM ET, Monday, March 11th, 2019
Where: Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York
Current Line: BK -2 Total: 221
TV Coverage: FS Detroit, YES
They will be playing a Brooklyn Nets team that is solid. Both teams will be in the playoffs this year, and both teams are actually pretty similar. But again, the Pistons are on another level right now. They are 5-0 against the spread in their last five games.
On the other hand, the Nets are 0-5 Against the spread in their last five games against the Eastern conference. I think the Pistons will roll tonight. I will gladly take the two points.
To top it all off, the road team (Pistons) is remarkably 7–0 against the spread in the last seven meetings between these two teams.
We are riding high after a huge weekend of Free Picks. Not only did we hit our Friday, Saturday and Sunday picks, but Joe also nailed his PGA pick…+2750! Check our Pick of the Day page for details.
The Nets are not playing well, and the Pistons are playing very well. That is why I am picking Detroit to cover the spread tonight. It is important to ride a team when they are hot, and again, it is very dumb to bet against Detroit right now. They are playing too well, and are going to be in great shape heading into the playoffs.
Blake Griffin is perhaps playing the best basketball of his entire career. I think they are a team who is making some serious noise right now, and should be able to disrupt the Nets pretty well. Look for the Pistons to lockdown defensively in this one early on. They will get off to a big lead, and then the Nets will make a little bit of a comeback, but it will not be enough. The offenses will get going in late in this game.
Regarding the point total, I love the over. It is 9-2 in the Pistons last 11 overall. It is actually 15-5 in the last 20 meetings between these two teams in Brooklyn, and 6-2 in the Nets last 8 vs. NBA Central.
Simon says take the Pistons to cover and also take the over for a parlay special!
Same Game Parlay Special:
*Pistons +2 vs. Nets
*OVER 221 POINTS
