NBA Free Pick | Lakers at Pistons
I actually love the Lakers in this one. You might think I’m crazy because it’s a back to back and they’ve been dealing with a lot of LeBron drama. But it’s a great spot for LAL to cover. The Pistons have been playing their worst basketball of the season. They have been absolutely terrible.
Game: Los Angeles Lakers (31-37, 27-39 ATS) at Detroit Pistons (34-33, 33-32 ATS)
When: 7:00 PM ET, Friday, March 15th, 2019
Where: Little Caesars Arena, Detroit, Michigan
Current Line: DET -12 Total: 218
TV Coverage: Spectrum SportsNet, FS Detroit
Meanwhile it’s a very interesting spot for the Lakers. Here’s why.
They have 2 starters who will be extremely motivated for this game. Kyle Kuzma is from the Detroit area and will have a ton of family in town. It’s a homecoming for him and you know he will be ready to go.
Also, Reggie Bullock is making his return to Detroit after being traded. He should have a fantastic game making his return. I definitely expect this game to be close. I thought the line would be Pistons -4. Instead it’s Pistons -12.
It’s simply way too many points.

I am very confident the Lakers will cover this spread. They might not win but they are motivated and will definitely keep it under 12. Well, at least in my opinion. I think there are certainly a lot of issues with the Lakers right now but they still have talent. They have guys who will want to go out and have a great game tonight.
The Pistons continue their playoff push and desperately need a win tonight. I think they will get it, I just don’t think it will be by 12 points.
Simon says take the Lakers to cover tonight and let’s see if we can make some money. Good luck to all of your weekend betting, I hope you cash a lot of winning bets!
