The Bucks have struggled since they picked Kareem as the number one pick in the draft in 1969, and this is not hyperbole! This team has been snake-bit. Since winning their only title in 1971, the team went on to rattle off Division titles in 72, 73, 74, 76, and then had a great run in the 80’s winning division titles from 80-86.
They won another division title in 2001, their last! 2001 seems like ancient history considering that Tom Brady has won five Super Bowls and playing in his 9th, in three days! Even worse, 1986! That is ancient history is the world of sports.
The Bucks quite possibly have turned the corner, they have certainly put themselves in a much better position with who has suddenly become a superstar of the NBA, Giannis Antetokounmpo. This guy is a star, a big star and his value has risen quickly with 26.5 points per game along with 12.6 rebounds.
He is no doubt what this team has needed for a long time and the offense from the Bucks is stellar. The defense on the other hand, it’s lacking. Giannis is an offensive machine but only manages 1.4 blocks per game. That must improve as well as the Bucks overall focus on defense.
These two are evenly matched across the board, Milwaukee comes in scoring 117.2 points per game and allowing 107.6 while shooting 48% from the field, with 6 blocks and 7.7 steals per game. The Raptors are scoring 114.1 and allowing 108.7 points per game and shooting 47.2% from the field with 5.5 blocks and 8.4 steals per game.

Milwaukee is grabbing 48.8 rebounds per game to Toronto’s 45. They also outweigh in the assist dept. with 26.3 per game to the Raptors 24.4.
The numbers are too close to give any one team a clear edge. They both come in motivated and clearly want the bragging rights. Toronto has the slight edge in front of the home crowd. This one should be very close.
