After their end-of-game collapse in game two of the NBA finals the Heat will try to let the game go again as the series moves to Dallas for the first of three games on the Mavericks’ home floor. The Mavs rallied from 15 points down in the final 7 minutes to beat the Heat 95-93 in game two, outscoring them 22-5 to finish the game and even the series.
The line for the Mavericks at Bet33 is -2 (-110). The money line is -130 for Dallas and +110 for Miami. The Over/Under is 189 1/2 (-110).
This game is crucial for several reasons, the Heat doesn’t want to deal with another loss and the Mavericks want to keep momentum rolling and keep home court advantage.
“We’ve lost at home this year in the playoffs. Now Miami has as well. The venue has significance, but it never guarantees anyone anything. … The mistake that we’re not going to make is feel like coming home is going to be something that helps get us over the hump. It’s not going to be like that. Both these teams are too good of road teams,” Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said.
Including the playoffs the Mavericks have won 34 road games this season, first in the NBA. The Heat rank second with 32 and they haven’t lost consecutive games since early March. The Heat have won by an average of 11.7 points after all six of their most recent losses and they’re 17-7 in their last 24 road games.
The Mavericks have won 12 of their last 14 games against the Heat, including six wins by single-digits.
