Monday Night Football 2 Team Teaser

As a professional gambler, my assessment of tonight’s Monday Night Football matchup leads me to bet a 2 team teaser. The option of adjusting lines in your favor will increase your chance of success, providing the most value and profit potential. I got killed last week, and this bet is a perfect way to get my account back in the positive.

MNF has the AFC North basement dwelling Baltimore Ravens (1-5, 0-5-1 ATS) travelling to Phoenix to take on the Arizona Cardinals (4-2, 4-2 ATS), who are currently first overall in the NFC West. Tonight’s matchup will mark the fifth away game in seven for the Ravens, and their fourth trip across the country before the mid-way point of the season.

Although the Ravens 1-5 start is their worst in franchise history, they may not be as bad as their record indicates. All six of the Ravens games have been decided by six points or less, with two of their games needing overtime to decide the winner. Three of their losses have come after having a fourth quarter lead, and have had the chance for a game tying or winning score in the final two minutes of every game this season.

That brings us to the Cardinals. They started off the season with three straight wins, scoring a combined 126 points in those games. They were held to 13 points last week by a Pittsburg Steelers defense that currently ranks 26th in the NFL, losing 25-13.

Arizona was burned by third string quarterback Landry Jones, who entered the game following an injury to Mike Vick. Landry had instant chemistry with wide receiver Martavis Bryant to the tune of 137 yards and 2 touchdowns on 6 receptions.

Experts at AmericasBookie.com currently have the Cardinals the favorite at home, with the spread at -8.5 and the money line at -440. The Ravens are paying +330 for the win, while the number is at 49.

Baltimore currently rank 16th in total team defense, but are 29th in pass yards per game at 286. To further this point, Arizona’s offense ranks 6th in the NFL in pass yards per game at 284 with quarterback Carson Palmer having thrown for 1737 yards, 14 touchdowns and 5 interceptions, good for a QB rating of 106.9.

Baltimore’s offense isn’t too far behind in passing yards, throwing for 258/game. The major difference being that Arizona ranks 7th in overall passing defense giving up only 224 yards per game, a difference of over 60 yards per game. Overall, Arizona ranks in the top 10 in all major defensive categories, namely 5th in overall yards and 8th in points/game.

I expect this game to be closer than most are predicting, which is why the teaser is such a great bet. Teasing Arizona and the OVER will set your line at -2½ with the U/O at 43. Learn how to bet on teasers at AmericasBookie.
