MLB Free Pick | Reds at Brewers
It’s been a minute since I’ve given a MLB pick, but there’s a game today I simply couldn’t pass up. Baseball is a funny game to bet. Over 9 innings and 3+ hours, there are so many nuances that need to be taken into account. In reality, we could never find an equation that could measure everything. But there’s a dog I really like today.
Game: Cincinnati Reds (35-38, 41-32 ATS) at Milwaukee Brewers (40-35, 37-38 ATS)
When: 8:10 PM ET, Friday, June 21st, 2019
Where: Miller Park, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Current Line: CIN +115 MIL -125 Total: 8.5
TV Coverage: FS Ohio, FS Wisconsin
Probable Pitchers: Reds RH Sonny Gray (3-5, 3.77 ERA) vs. Brewers RH Chase Anderson (3-1, 4.05 ERA)
The Cincinnati Reds try to keep it rolling tonight when they continue a 4-game set on the road against the Milwaukee Brewers. The Reds are currently riding a 5 game win streak, including a 3-game sweep versus the Houston Astros and a 7-1 win against these Brewers last night.
I watched a lot of the Reds vs. Astros series, and came away very impressed by the Reds. They got some timely hitting and their bullpen was near untouchable.
Sonny Gray tales the mound for them tonight, and has quietly been putting together a great campaign. Since his first start back on April 23rd, Gray has given up 3 earned runs or less in all of his 9 starts and has walked 2 or less in 6 of his 10 total starts.
Chase Anderson has been good in his own right, but has been far from perfect. His last time out he gave up 5 hits, 4 walks and 3 earned runs in 4 innings of work against the lowly Giants.
The Brew Crew are 3-7 in their last 10, including a 4-game losing streak, getting swept by the Padres before their loss to the Brewers last night.
Reds batters have smashed 6 homers off Anderson, while Gray has kept all the Brewer batters he’s faced in the yard. I’m on the Reds to win tonight.

Sticking with the NFL on Saturday worked out for us, so let’s give it another try. San Francisco heads to Denver and both starting quarterbacks are expected to see some action. It probably won’t be for long, which will likely have an effect on our outcome. * Increase your bookie business 10 times, all while Read More…
I dipped into this series on Friday night, and although it didn’t come easy, I took the Giants +126 for the win. The Giants had a 7-2 lead going into the bottom of the 8th, only to allow 5 runs in the bottom of the 8th. Neither team scored in the 9th, both scored two Read More…
The NFL has been tough on me lately, but I’m going to stick with it for Saturday’s pick. In Week 15 of the 2019 regular season, Dallas and the L.A. Rams will meet in a game that will likely have playoff implications. This preseason Week 2 game is much less important, but it does have Read More…
