Late NFL Free Pick Week 11
Each week I am tasked with providing all of our great readers a free pick for one of the late NFL games. This week I had 4 games to choose from, and honestly, it was the toughest group of games I’ve had to choose from this season.
We’re the place for NFL Betting News
Oakland at Arizona features two of the worst teams in the league, Denver at LA Chargers is a divisional matchup of teams heading in opposite directions, Eagles at Saints, where I really don’t know what to think about the defending champs and a Norris division Sunday Night Football tilt when the Vikings visit the Bears.
If I had to choose them all, I’d probably go chalk with the Chargers and Saints. Vance Joseph is not an NFL coach, and will be unemployed this offseason (until he gets a lesser job). The Saints are clicking on all cylinders, with their defense trying to catch up to their offense in terms of team strengths. The Eagles have lost their line depth, which was so valuable to their Super Bowl run.
The Vikings/Bears game is one I will be staying away from. This one features two great defenses and two offenses that know how to move the ball. Add in the divisional factor and Primetime, and I’ll choose to sit back and enjoy.
That leaves the Raiders at Cardinals. Arizona is a 5-point home favorite with the total set at 41. The Cards are 2-7, with both their wins coming against the 49ers, while the Raiders are 1-8, with one of their losses being a 34-3 blowout at the hands of the 49ers.
Arizona held their own last week against the Chiefs, showing flashes of greatness on defense while new OC Byron Leftwich seems to be pushing the right buttons to get RB David Johnson going.
The Raiders have scored a total of 9 points in their last 2 games, and a total of 22 in 4 of their last 5 (the fifth they scored 28 against the Colts). I predict the Cards to cover the spread, but my pick is the UNDER in this one.

The Reds picked up a big win over one of the best teams in baseball last night, and definitely a team that comes in near or above the top-five in most power rankings. Last night was a close game and yet another run line loss by the Astros, who happen to be 38-34 against the Read More…
Throw out the fact that the San Francisco Giants are in last place in the National League West Division. The Giants-Dodgers rivalry is one of the best in baseball. The two teams meet for the fourth time this season beginning a four-game series on Monday night. If you think just because the Giants are in Read More…
