Jets' Decker has sprained knee, may play

NEW YORK (AP) New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker has a sprained knee, although coach Todd Bowles is ”hopeful” he might be healthy enough to play the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
An MRI on Tuesday revealed the sprain as the wide receiver avoided a potentially serious injury. Decker said after the Jets’ 20-7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Monday night that doctors thought his posterior cruciate ligament was affected.
Decker had eight catches for 97 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game in the second half. It was uncertain when he was hurt.
Bowles says Decker is day to day, and the Jets will determine later in the week if he can play Sunday.
Wide receiver Chris Owusu has a leg injury that could sideline him a week or two.
