UFC 255 is tonight at the UFC APEX facility in Las Vegas, and is the site of today’s Figueiredo Perez free pick.
There are two title fights on the main card tonight. In the co-main event, Valentina Shevchenko is a massive favorite (-1700) against Jennifer Maia and should have no problem dominating.
Before we move on, go check out last week’s winner, it was a Felder Dos Anjos pick.
In the main event, Figueiredo will fight Perez. The defending champion is favored, but the public is expecting a closer fight, which is great, as it provides us with some excellent value.
Fight: Deiveson Figueiredo (19-1) vs. Alex Perez (24-5)
When: Saturday, November 21st 2020
Where: UFC APEX Facility in Las Vegas
Figueiredo vs. Perez Betting Odds
- Fight Odds: Figueiredo (-260) vs. Perez (+220)
This line has been moving a lot. Initially, when the fight was first announced, Figueiredo opened up as a -210 favorite and he was up around -300 earlier in the week, but has dropped down a bit.
- Fight Odds: Over 1.5 Rounds (-172) vs. Under 1.5 Rounds (+157)
This is a five-round championship fight, but most bettors expect this fight to end early.
Will it end in the second round? I’m not too sure about, but I’m also not paying the juice on the O1.5 rounds either. Both guys like to get busy right away in most of their fights.

Figueiredo vs. Perez – Tale of the Tape
Figueiredo lost to Formiga in 2019, but he has since gone on a four-fight win streak. He has picked up wins against Pantoja, Elliott and Benavidez twice since the loss.
His last three wins have all come by early stoppage.
Perez is 3-0 since 2019. He was knocked out in 2018 by Benavidez, but he has looked good in 2020. He has won against Espinosa (Submission) and Formiga (TKO) already this year.
Can anyone stop the Brazilian at flyweight right now?
For my Figueiredo Perez free pick, my money is on Figueiredo winning this fight inside the distance. We can get him at -165 to win ITD and I think that’s likely, as Perez has been stopped four times in his career.
Perez has been submitted three times and Figueiredo has 7 submission wins.
Figueiredo Perez Free Pick: Deiveson Figueiredo ITD (-165)
