Broncos to start Osweiler against Pats

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) Broncos coach Gary Kubiak is sticking with quarterback Brock Osweiler for Denver’s showdown with the New England Patriots next weekend while Peyton Manning continues rehabbing from a spate of injuries.
That means instead of Brady-Manning XVII, it’ll be Brady-Osweiler I when Tom Brady and the Patriots visit on Sunday night.
Osweiler won his first NFL start Sunday, throwing for 250 yards and two TDs with no interceptions in Denver’s 17-15 win at Chicago.
It was the first turnover-free game of the season for the Broncos (8-2).
Manning stayed in Denver to get treatment for rib, foot and shoulder injuries.
The Patriots (9-0) host Buffalo on Monday night.
