This is sure to be a great game to finish out the Conference tournaments before we head into March Madness this week. Michigan are trying to win their third Big Ten Championship is a row, while Michigan State are looking to win it for the first time since 2016.
This is an interesting matchup on paper with the Wolverines at #3 in scoring defense in the nation, giving up only 58.8 points per game while the Spartans are 46th, allowing 65.9 PPG.
On the other side of the court, the Spartans hold the edge in points scored per game, with 79.7 (37th) and the Wolverines way down the list at #238, averaging 70.4 PPG.
The two previous matchups this season between the two show a distinct advantage for the Spartans, who won by 7 on the road on February 24th, and by 12 at home on March 9th. The totals for those games were 138 and 147, which both resulted in the OVER.
As well, in the last 10 games between these two, the OVER has cashed 8 times, with the Spartans 7-3 SU and 6-4 ATS.
At PK, I love the Spartans here, but my official pick is OVER 130.5. Most experts are on the UNDER, but I’m taking the other side. I don’t see less than either of the previous point totals, and I wouldn’t be surprised if this one goes to OT and pads the OVER even more.
NBA Free Pick: Wolverines vs. Spartans OVER 130.5 (with the way it’s moving, it may drop even more – I’m waiting closer to tipoff to place my wager)
