BetAnySports Weekend Betting Preview - Sept. 8-10

With the start of the 2017 NFL regular season in conjunction with Week 2 of the new college football season, it is wall-to-wall betting action on the games at BetAnySports over the next few days. In other key betting action, the push towards the MLB playoffs continues with a number of key series on this weekend’s slate and NASCAR wraps up its regular season schedule this Saturday night at Richmond Raceway.

One of the top matchups on Saturday’s college football schedule is a SEC/ACC tilt between No. 13 Auburn and No. 3 Clemson in battle of Tigers at Memorial Stadium in 7 p.m. (ET) start on ESPN. Another big matchup between nationally ranked powers pits the No. 5 Oklahoma Sooners against the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes in a 7:30 p.m. start on ABC from Ohio Stadium. The Buckeyes have been listed as 7.5-point home favorites and the total line for this Big 12/Big Ten clash has been set at 64.5 points. The Sooners have covered in their last five games, while Ohio State is just 3-7 ATS in its last 10 games.

No. 15 Georgia will go on the road as a 4.5-point road underdog against No. 24 Notre Dame at 7:30 p.m. on NBS, followed by a big Pac-12 showdown between No. 14 Stanford and No. 6 USC in an 8:30 p.m. kickoff on FOX. BetAnySports has listed the Trojans as 6.5-point home favorites for Saturday night’s game.

When it comes to Week 1 in the NFL, two of the top teams in the NFC will square off against one another when the Seattle Seahawks head to Lambeau Field this Sunday to take on the Green Bay Packers in a 4:25 p.m. start on FOX. The Packers open their season as three-point home favorites and the betting line for the total in this game has been set at 51. Green Bay has a perfect 5-0 SU record in its last five home games against the Seahawks with a 4-0-1 record ATS.

Sunday night’s matchup is a NFC East showdown between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys in an 8:30 p.m. kickoff at AT&T Stadium. NBC will carry the game nationally and BetAnySports has the Cowboys listed as four-point favorites with the total set at 47.5 points. New York is 4-0-1 ATS in its last five games against its bitter division rival.
