ATB Free Friday Playoff Round Robin
Freaky Friday is upon us! It’s the first full Friday of the MLB 2018 Playoffs with four games on the schedule, and I’m going to drop another Round Robin on you. We’re making a 4-team round robin bet with 6 two-team parlays at $25/ for a total bet of $150. All odds have not been released for these games as yet, so exact payout is unknown.
Friday will feature a couple Game 1’s as the ALDS’ get started in Houston and a couple Game 2’s with the NLDS getting started on Thursday.
In the American League, the Astros (J Verlander) host the Indians (C Kluber) at 2:05 PM ET and the Red Sox (C Sale) play the Yankees (TBD) at 7:32 PM ET at Fenway. The Brewers (J Chacin) play host to the Rockies at 4:15 PM ET with the Dodgers (C Kershaw) and Braves (A Sanchez) closing out the day in LA starting at 9:37 PM ET.
This is lining up to be one of the best MLB playoffs that we have seen in years, and maybe one that was heavily predicted when the season started back in March. Take a look at the futures odds to win the World Series and lay some money on the least favored, because there is value to be had in most teams.
In the 1st game, watch for Kluber to go beast mode. This series will go the full 5 games, but I am taking the upset and going with Cleveland moneyline (+130). After coming through at season’s end, winning the Central and getting the #1 seed in the NL, expect the Brewers offense to come out strong, no matter who is pitching for the Rockies, because I doubt it’s their ace Kyle Freeland again. Milwaukee ML.
I’m predicting the Yankees will start JA Happ against Sale and the Sox, and even though I think Happ is a very good pitcher, Sale is a great one. Add the Fenway atmosphere, and I’m taking Boston ML (-162). Last but certainly not least is Dodgers v. Braves at Dodger Stadium. I got one word … Kershaw. Dodgers moneyline.

This is a fun one and what a series it’s been. This is especially fun because these two have been here and done this before. This series has played out exactly as it should have with the road team capturing the wins, heading back, and the road team capturing the win. The back and forth Read More…
Yesterday was quite possibly the worst day I’ve had in sports. But that was yesterday, it’s a new week and ready to dig into the numbers and do what I do best…find value. I will never go against my mold and bet moneylines of -150 and over. To me, the value just isn’t there. I Read More…
