2019 Stanley Cup Finals Free Pick | Game 6
The St. Louis Blues are the oldest active team in the NHL to have never won the Stanley Cup, although they did play in 3 straight from 1968-70. So basically they’re the Buffalo Bills of the NHL. Their meteoric rise from the basement has been nothing short of amazing, but I’m sorry to tell you Blues fans, you’re going to have to wait one more game.
Game: Boston Bruins (63-30-11, 55-49 ATS) at St. Louis Blues (60-35-11, 51-55 ATS)
When: 8:00 PM ET, Sunday, June 9th, 2019
Where: Enterprise Center, St. Louis, Missouri
Current Line: BOS EV STL -120 Total: 5
TV Coverage: NBC, CBC, TVAS, Sportsnet
Series: Blues lead 3-2
After residing in the basement as close to present as last December, the Blues have beat the odds and are one win from hoisting Lord Stanley’s Mug. They have won the last two after losing 2 of the first 3.
Even though St. Louis has 3 wins in the series, they have scored a total of 13 goals through the first 5 games of the Stanley Cup Final. A huge reason for that is Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask who sits atop the goals against average and save percentage stat categories with stats of 1.97 and .937, respectively.
Blues goalie Jordan Binnington sits atop the wins list but is 10th in GAA with 2.46 and 12th in SV% at .913.
I’ve gone back and forth on what my best bet is going to be for this one. If the total was 5.5, I’d play the UNDER, but in an elimination game, strategy might dictate an empty net goal or two. When betting on hockey, you need to look at everything.
I expect a full team effort from the Boston Bruins tonight, and it will get them a Game 7 at home. I’m taking the Bruins on the moneyline at EVEN money.

Sticking with the NFL on Saturday worked out for us, so let’s give it another try. San Francisco heads to Denver and both starting quarterbacks are expected to see some action. It probably won’t be for long, which will likely have an effect on our outcome. * Increase your bookie business 10 times, all while Read More…
I dipped into this series on Friday night, and although it didn’t come easy, I took the Giants +126 for the win. The Giants had a 7-2 lead going into the bottom of the 8th, only to allow 5 runs in the bottom of the 8th. Neither team scored in the 9th, both scored two Read More…
The NFL has been tough on me lately, but I’m going to stick with it for Saturday’s pick. In Week 15 of the 2019 regular season, Dallas and the L.A. Rams will meet in a game that will likely have playoff implications. This preseason Week 2 game is much less important, but it does have Read More…
