2019 NBA Finals Free Pick | Game 2
The City of Toronto is electric, and after finishing with one more win than the Warriors in the regular season, home court advantage is proving to be well worth it. Game 1 was a great game, and I expect more of the same tonight in Game 2 before the series moves to Golden State for a couple games. Continue reading to see how I see this one playing out.
Game: Golden State Warriors (69-30, 42-55-2 ATS) at Toronto Raptors (71-30, 48-52-1 ATS)
When: 8:00 PM ET, Sunday, June 2nd, 2019
Where: Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, Ontario
Current Line: TOR -2 Total: 213
TV Coverage: ABC
Series: TOR leads 1-0
I’ll be the first one to admit that I didn’t think the Raptors had a chance to win this series and bring an NBA Championship to Canada for the first time, but I’m also not afraid to admit when I’m wrong. I’m wrong.
The Raptors played hard ALL GAME, and were rewarded with a 10-point lead at the half, en route to a 9-point win to take Game 1.

Spicy P, better known as Pascal Siakam, played a phenomenal game, playing every second like it was the last 5 seconds of the game. If he can continue his play, and Kawhi and Lowry play back up to their level, the Raptors will not only win Game 2, but they will win the series.
Having said that, the Warriors can also play a few levels better after hitting only 38.7% beyond the 3-point line (12-31), and 43.6% from the field (34-78). Missing Durant is hurting Golden State a lot more than they care to admit, and I expect the Raptors to take full advantage of that again tonight.
It will be closer tonight, and I will consider taking the Raptors -1 first half as game time approaches, but my pick today is Toronto Raptors -135. However, the large majority of the public’s money is on Golden State, and I will wait closer to game time in hopes the Raps ML drops closer to -110.
2019 NBA Finals Free Pick: Toronto Raptors ML (wait closer to game time – the odds dropped from -135 to -130 in the time I wrote this article)
