Tottenham announces Vertonghen deal
Vertonghen enjoyed his most successful season to date last term, being named
Ajax captain at the start of the campaign and leading the Dutch club to their
second successive league title.
The 25-year-old scored 10 goals in 37 appearances across all competitions last
season, earning the defender Eredivisie Player of the Year and Ajax Player of
the Year honors.
