Odds to Win the NASCAR Food City 250 – Favorite is Kyle Busch

The Nationwide Series travels to Bristol Motor Speedway this Friday night to kick off a weekend of night racing in Bristol, Tennessee.  The Cup Series will be racing on the track on Saturday night.  The oddsmakers have Brad Keselowski as the favorite at +200 according to America's Bookie.

Keselowski is the hot ticket in NASCAR right now on both the Cup Series and in Nationwide.  In 13 races in 2012 he has 3 Nationwide wins.  He won this event back in 2008 and I could definitely see him as a threat to win this Friday.  He also has short odds to win the Irwin Tools Night Race on Saturday night.  I like his chances in both.

Kyle Busch has been given +250 odds and is also favored to win Saturday’s race.  He has won this event the last 2 years so just that alone would lead me not to pick him.  Busch has no wins on the season for Nationwide races and has not shown a lot racing with the big boys either.  I’m scratching him totally for this one.  He might be good for a top 5.

Kevin Harvick is at +450 for the race and won it a couple of times over a decade ago.  He has no wins on Nationwide in 2012.  I am going to take a closer look at a few of the guys that race Nationwide each week and are at the top.  Elliott Sadler at +850 might be worth a look.  Also check out Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Austin Dillon.  All 3 of these guys are in the top 5 of the Nationwide point standings.

Odds to win the Food City 250:

Brad Keselowski +200

Kyle Busch +250

Kevin Harvick +450

Joey Logano +700

Elliott Sadler +850

Kasey Kahne +850
