To quickly summarize the first five weeks of the 2017 NFL regular season, the 5-0 (both straight-up and against the spread) Kansas City Chiefs are hot and the New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers and Cleveland Browns are not at a combined 0-15 SU and 6-9 ATS.

The Chiefs continue to set the pace in the AFC with the only perfect start in the NFL and they continue to line bettor’s pockets at BetAnySports by covering in every win. You could have made even more money on this team on the total with the closing betting line going OVER in four of its first five games.

This Sunday, Kansas City will play host to 3-2 Pittsburgh in a 4:25 p.m. start at Arrowhead on CBS. The opening spread has the Chiefs favored by four points with the total set at 45.5 points. The Steelers are coming off a bad 30-9 loss to Jacksonville as 7.5-point home favorites after falling to Chicago 23-17 two weeks ago as 6.5-point favorites on the road. They are 2-3 ATS with the total staying UNDER in all five games.

A couple of hot teams in the NFC gets things started this week with 4-1 Philadelphia going on the road to face 4-1 Carolina in an 8:25 p.m. start this Thursday night on CBS from Bank of America Stadium. The Eagles come in as three-point road underdogs with a 3-2 record ATS. The total has been set at 45.5 points and it has gone OVER in three of their first five games. The Panthers covered as two-point road underdogs in last Sunday’s 27-24 victory over Detroit. They are now 3-1-1 ATS with the total going OVER BetAnySports’ closing line in their last three games.

One of the biggest matchups on Sunday’s slate pits the 4-1 Green Bay Packers against the 3-2 Minnesota Vikings in a 1 p.m. kickoff on FOX from US Bank Stadium in a battle for first place in the NFC North. The Packers are 3-2 ATS with the total going OVER in four of the five games, while Minnesota fell to 2-3 ATS after failing to cover as a 3.5-point road favorite in Monday night’s 20-17 victory against the Bears.

The worst betting team in the NFL this season has been the Arizona Cardinals at 2-3 SU with a 0-5 record ATS. The total has stayed UNDER in four of their first five games. They will host Tampa Bay this Sunday in a 4:05 p.m. kickoff on FOX as two-point underdogs with the total set at 44.5 points.
