NCAA Football Week 9 Odds and Preview

There are a number of interesting conference matchups this week. Here are the odds and preview for Week 9.

The featured game of the week is the non-conference battle between #5 Notre Dame and #8 Oklahoma next Saturday at 8:00 PM ET. According to the oddsmakers at America's Bookie, Oklahoma is an 11-point favorite. Notre Dame comes into this game with a 7-0 record, including 2-0 on the road while Oklahoma is 5-1 overall and 3-1 at home. Notre Dame is 4-3 ATS this season while Oklahoma is 4-2 ATS. The last time these two teams met was in 1999 and Notre Dame won 34-30.

The other featured game comes in the SEC with #1 Alabama hosting #13 Mississippi State at 8:30 PM ET next Saturday. According to the oddsmakers at BetJambo, Alabama is a 23½-point favorite. Mississippi State is 7-0 overall, including 2-0 on the road while Alabama is 7-0 overall and 4-0 at home. The Tide are 4-3 ATS this year while the Bulldogs are 5-2 ATS. Alabama has won three straight games against Mississippi State.
