NCAA Football Week 5 Odds and Preview
There are a number of interesting conference matchups this week. Here are the odds and preview for Week 5.
The featured game of the week comes in the Big Ten when #20 Michigan State hosts #14 Ohio State next Saturday at 3:30 PM ET. According to the oddsmakers at America's Bookie, Michigan State is a 3-point favorite and the total is set at 43. This will be the first Big Ten game for both teams.
Michigan State comes into this game with a 3-1 record, 2-1 at home and 1-3 ATS. Ohio State is off to a 4-0 start and this will be their first road game. The Buckeyes are also 1-3 ATS. Michigan State hasn't beaten Ohio State in back-to-back years since 1998 and 1999.
Another interesting game this week will be #9 West Virginia hosting #25 Baylor at 12:00 PM ET on Saturday. The oddsmakers at BetJambo favor West Virginia by 12½ points and the total is set at 79. West Virginia is 3-0 overall this year, 2-0 at home and 1-2 ATS. Baylor is also 3-0 overall, they're 1-0 on the road and 1-2 ATS. This will be the first Big 12 game for West Virginia and the first meeting between these two teams.
