Moreno takes Symetra Tour win on last hole

Moreno carded a 3-under 69 to finish the tournament at 9-under-par 207, and
earned her second Symetra Tour victory. The Colombian also won the 2010 Texas
Hill Country Classic.

Gleason (70) missed out on her second title of the season after ending at
minus-8.

The pair began the final round at Richmond Country Club tied for first,
sitting at minus-6.

Gleason put together a clean front nine, which included birdies at four and
nine, then birdied 14 to reach minus-9.

Moreno was two strokes behind at that point, having carded two birdies and a
bogey on her front side. She pulled even with Gleason thanks to birdies at 15
and 16, but gave one of those strokes back with a bogey at the following hole.

However, the 18th made all the difference. Moreno rolled in a birdie, while
Gleason couldn’t save par to eliminate the possibility of a playoff.
