Love, T’Wolves top Spurs

Love had 18 points and 16 rebounds and the Timberwolves scored the final 10 points of the game for an 87-79 win over the Spurs on Friday night.

The Timberwolves have won two games against the Spurs this month after losing the previous 16 in the series. Friday was only their third victory in the last 24 meetings between the teams.

Tony Parker scored 20 to lead San Antonio while Tim Duncan had nine points and 10 rebounds.

The Spurs took a 79-77 lead on Neal's three-pointer with 3:33 remaining, but didn't score again. They missed their final seven shots of the game.
