Lions RB Leshoure suspended 2 games by NFL
Leshoure, 22, will forfeit four game checks as part of the punishment.
Lions president Tom Lewand said the team supports the decision, saying it
expects every member of the organization “to uphold a greater standard of
behavior.”
Leshoure’s punishment and Lewand’s statement were both posted on a blog on the
Lions’ website.
The 2011 second-round draft pick missed all of last season after tearing his
Achilles in practice.
