Lightning sign veteran D Salo
The 13-year veteran spent the last nine seasons with the Vancouver Canucks,
recording nine goals, 16 assists and a plus-seven rating in 69 games last
year.
A ninth-round draft pick by the Ottawa Senators in 1996, the Turku, Finland,
native has accumulated 93 goals and 305 points over 761 career games with
Ottawa and Vancouver.
Salo has also appeared in 100 career postseason games, collecting 12 goals and
19 assists.
