BAS NFL Who’s Hot and Who’s Not – Conference Championships

The four Wild Card teams in this season’s NFL Playoffs all won as road favorites in the opening round while going 2-1-1 against the spread. All four home teams successfully defended their advantage in this past weekend’s Divisional Round while going 2-1-1 ATS on BetAnySports’ closing NFL betting odds.

Both New England and Carolina covered in seven-point wins as the hottest betting teams, while Denver’s seven-point win against Pittsburgh ended as a PUSH and Arizona failed to cover as a seven-point favorite in a six-point overtime win against Green Bay.

Betting trends for this Sunday’s two title games are all over the board. The Patriots are listed as 3.5-point road favorites with the total set at 44, but they head into Denver with a 3-5-1 record against the spread in their last nine games. The Broncos are 3-5-1 ATS in nine home games this season, but they have been able to go 3-0-1 ATS in four games as underdogs with BetAnySports.

Head-to-head in this match-up, New England is 1-5 ATS in its last six road games against Denver and the total has gone OVER in six of the last seven meetings overall. These two met in Week 12 of the regular season and the Broncos prevailed in a 30-24 win as 2.5-point home underdogs. They also beat New England 26-16 as five-point home favorites two seasons ago in the AFC title game.

The Arizona will be on the road against Carolina is the NFC title game as a three-point underdog. The betting odds for the total in this game have been set at 47. The Cardinals are 4-7 ATS in their last 11 games, but they have been a profitable bet on the road this entire season with a 6-2 mark ATS in eight previous games. The Panthers win over Seattle moved their record to an even 3-3 ATS in their last six games, but they remain a great team to bet on at home with a 7-2 record ATS in nine previous home games this season.

These two teams last met in the Wild Card Round of last season’s playoffs and Carolina came out on top 27-16 as a 5.5-point home favorite. The total went OVER BetAnySports’ closing 38-point betting line. The Panthers have a SU 4-1 edge in their last five home games against Arizona.
