Florida Gators Season Odds

The Florida Gators are coming off a tough year. Can they bounce back next season?

The Gators went 7-6 last year, their lowest win total since the Ron Zook era. The oddsmakers at America's Bookie see a slight improvement for Florida, giving them +900 odds to win the SEC Championship along with +3300 odds to win the BCS National Championship.

Florida will return 19 starters, including seven on offense. They will have a new quarterback, which might be a good thing since they struggled in the passing game all last year. Sophomore Jeff Driskel will start at quarterback and he will have a full set of talented wide receivers to work with, as well as an offensive line that will return four starters.

Defensively, Florida looks improve the unit that allowed just 20.3 points and 299.5 yards per game last year. Ten starters are back, including the entire back seven. The Gators only allowed 166.8 passing yards per game last season and the secondary should be even better now.
