Daily NBA Recaps for 5/17

Here you can find the recaps for all the NBA games of the day:

Miami Heat    75   vs. Indiana Pacers    94     Recap

The Heat has gone down 1-2 and I don’t see them coming back.  Not that it is such a big deficit for them to come back from; they just don’t have the team to do it.  D Wade had a meltdown last night, which I think signifies the end.  Mario Chalmers had a good night for Miami, scoring 25 points and LeBron added 22.  Wade had his worst performance in the playoffs with 5 points.  The Heat, even if they prove me wrong and find a way to come back in the series, will not go to the finals.  Time to go back to the drawing board and build a TEAM.

LA Clippers    88   vs. San Antonio Spurs    105     Recap

I think it is time to quit underestimating the Spurs and thinking the other team is bound to cover the double digit point spread.  San Antonio has won 16 in a row and has scored over 100 points in 14 of those.  Everybody is playing well on the team and on this night it was Tony Parker leading the way with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.  The Clippers probably will figure out a way to not get swept, but there is no doubt the Spurs will win this series and move on to the Western Conference finals.
